How to personalise your homepage

Whether you would like to immediately access your emails, or quickly visit the company website, being able to tailor your homepage can be effective in your workflow. Read on to find out how to set your home page on different operating systems.

Internet Explorer

If you are using Internet Explorer to browse the web, type in the homepage you desire, and click on “Toolbar”, followed by “Tools” and then “Internet Options”. You will see a pop-up open with a Homepage box, where the current URL is listed. If you select “Use Current”, your page of choice will be set.

Google Chrome

Many users prefer to have Google Chrome as their web browser. If this applies to you, click on the three dots at the top right-hand corner of your screen. Choose “Options” from the drop-down box, and then “Basics”, which will enable you to select the homepage you prefer.

Microsoft Edge

Finally, if your chosen web browser is Microsoft Edge, you will need to click on “More Settings”. Now, scroll down until you see the option “View Advanced Settings”. Once open, click on “Show the Home Button” and type in the URL of the homepage you wish to use. Finally, click “Save”.
