Tom setup 127Solutions in 2007. Prior to this he had worked in for IBM and studied Computer Science at York University. Tom is keen to help clients use IT as a tool to grow there business, rather than it being something that holds the business back. Away from work Tom likes watching sport, particularly cricket and Formula 1. He enjoys walks with his Labrador Rolo mainly to pubs where he can sample the real ales on offer. When allowed out of the country his favourite holiday is skiing a hobby he has encouraged his two children to fall in love with as well.
At 16 Jo started as a Sales assistant for W H Smiths while doing her A Levels. She progressed in this and became Senior Sales Assistant. Jo Went to College and studied Accountancy and got her AAT level 4 qualification. She then worked in practice for many years, while doing the accounts for 127Solutions in her spare time. In 2017 Jo left practice to join 127Solutions full time as Finance Director. Away from work Jo likes watching sport and is keen Liverpool fan going to most home games. She also likes going to Music concerts and eating out.
Dave joined 127Solutions in 2008 shortly after it was founded, as an Apprentice IT engineer. His role has developed over many years, and he is now the Operations manager. He has hands on experience in all areas of the business including server and computer setups, phone system installs, broadband and Internet solutions and much more. He is keen to understand customer’s needs and provide solutions to help their business grow. Outside of work Dave is a keen traveller and enjoys snowboarding and mountain walking. He also loves spending time with his two crazy dogs Kyla and Nova.
Iain joined the team in late 2018 to provide phone and remote support to free up Tom and Dave’s time for onsite visits. Iain has over 12 years of experience providing IT support. In between helping customers with support tickets, Iain also monitors the servers, manages the backups, prepares equipment prior to installation on site and assists the team during implementation of projects. During his free time, Iain enjoys cooking, movies, video games and music festivals.
Rob joined 127Solutions in April 2021, before this he was the internal IT support technician for a law firm for 13 years. He’s experienced with the Horizon phone system and in cyber security policies. In addition to providing support to our customers on the IT Support desk, he is the team co-ordinator, providing quotes, sourcing and ordering equipment for customers and booking out the onsite engineers on jobs. He also does the Cyber Essentials accreditation applications on behalf of customers. Away from the office Rob is an active local CAMRA committee member, enjoys walking, music, and science fiction.
Jamie joined the team at 127Solutions in June of 2021 as an apprentice on a level 3 Infrastructure engineering course, having completed this in the summer of 2022 Jamie has recently started his level 4. Jamie’s main role is to help the whole team with any customer queries and to help with any onsite work. During Jamie’s free time he enjoys mountain biking, gaming, and movies.
Sheila joined the team in April 2021 as an Admin Assistant after deciding she wasn’t quite ready to retire. She has used her previous admin and financial experience to help with the day to day running of 127Solutions. She works two and a half days a week and the rest of my time she spends splitting her time as an Ambassador at the Floral Pavilion, singing with the Wallasey Choir and Western Approaches, a close Harmony group singing music of 30’s and 50’s and is Barn Owl at a local Brownie pack. Also, a busy grandmother with her three grandchildren. She also manages to find time to spend in the garden having recently been bitten by the gardening bug. She loves going to the theatre and out with friends and bring with her family.
Andrew joined 127 Solutions as IT Support Technician in June 2023, prior to this he spent 6 years in the FMCG sector as part of the small internal IT team at a well-known British brand. He joins the team to assist with remote and on-site support and projects. He has experience with first and second-line remote and on-site support, server and computer setup and maintenance, phone systems and networking. During his free time, Andrew enjoys being outdoors, whether that's Hiking, Mountain Biking, Climbing or Kayaking. He is also a keen gamer and film buff. Andrew also volunteers his time as a Scout Leader at a local scout group.
